Feeding Guide
Introduce the food gradually over 7 days, mixing it with your puppy's current food and increasing the amount each day. Fresh water should always be available.
- Under 3 months: feed 3 to 4 times a day; moisten the food for easier eating.
- After 3 months: gradually reduce moistening and feed 3 times a day.
- 6 to 12 months: feed 2 times a day.
- Adjust daily amounts to your puppy's activity level and body condition.
During the last 3 to 4 weeks of pregnancy and while nursing, food allowances should be increased to 1.5 to 2 times maintenance. After weaning, adjust the mother's food to help maintain ideal body condition.
A weight-based feeding chart is provided for puppies expected to reach adult weights from 5kg up to 25kg.
