This formula features a kibble with a specialised texture designed to rub the dog’s teeth as they chew, alongside calcium chelators that bind calcium in the mouth and help reduce tartar accumulation. Royal Canin states that, in an internal study, this food helped reduce tartar formation by up to 69%.
