Feeding
Feed as a complete daily diet and make sure fresh water is always available.
- Introduce gradually over around 10 days when changing from another food.
- Start with 25%, then move to 50%, 75% and finally 100% of the new food.
- For a softer finish, you can mix the food with lukewarm water and leave it for about five minutes before serving.
- Remove any uneaten food after 20 minutes.
This recipe is nutrient dense, so feeding amounts may be smaller than a standard kibble diet.
Show additional feeding guidance
Wilsons’ feeding guide recommends around 1.2% of bodyweight per day for an average adult dog, increasing to about 2.5% for young or very active dogs. A detailed bodyweight table is used for both adult and puppy feeding guidance.
